  How to become calm?

To be calm is the greatest asset in the world! Ramana Maharishi said: "The only thing you need to lead a spiritual life is the lack of reaction! To be calm is the greatest asset in the world! It is the greatest siddhi, the greatest power you can have. If you learn to keep your calm, you will be able to solve any problem. Remember this. When you are perfectly calm, time stops! There will be no more time, no more karma. There will be no more samskara! Everything becomes null and void when you are in total peace! When you are in total peace, you are one with the entire energy of the universe and everything becomes flow. To be calm means to have control. Don’t worry about any situation, any kind of result for tomorrow. Stay in peace with yourself !" Individuals display varying behaviours when confronted with change. While some individuals are inclined to endure suffering rather than embrace change, others promptly question the source of their pain and take action to eliminate it. Though we all undergo similar processes, the distinction lies in how we learn and whether we resist. This is where Existence itself comes into play, endeavouring to guide us along the simplest path among countless possibilities. Mother Nature has a direct way of indicating where and what aspects of ourselves require attention. When we seek peace, she surrounds us with noise. When we yearn for tranquillity, she presents us with conflicts. When we crave rest, she assigns us work. What is she truly attempting to convey? That what we desire often lies amidst what we refuse. The more obstinate we become, the more powerful the adversities we face. Conversely, by embracing acceptance more swiftly, life becomes increasingly serene. This may appear peculiar, yet it stems from a profound love. Due to her love for us, Mother Nature employs any means necessary to awaken our perception and teach us to embrace reality as it is. Through our own mistakes, she persistently demonstrates, via people and situations, areas in which we need to grow. The core of all experiences lies in unconditionally accepting everything that unfolds. Once we reach the point where "Thy will be done!" becomes a way of life, everything becomes effortless and straightforward.
